Shopping Center

Ain opened the door to the department store and found herself in the music part of it. She let out a sign knowing she wouldnt be able to just get to the managers desk without stoppinga few times. She bit her lip telling herself to just walk but remebered shed have to wait for Janis anyway. Looking throught the alternative section she found herslef listening to a new cd with one of the headsets lying out.

Ten minutes later Janis ran through the department store, but had to stop herself a few times to not run into anyone else. She had been held back a bit in class to fill out some information and had to run from the school. After a few complaints she managed to slow down to a fast walk down every aisle until she found Ain. When she did she waved and shouted for her. "Hey! Ain!"

Turning down the music and pulling the headsets off she heard her name and turned to see Janis. She then cut the power off and walked to her, but then jumped a little at a clock near by and ran towards her instead. She then shouted.
"Sorry. Wed better hurry before others get the best jobs and we end up cleaning! haha."
She turned towards the managers desk sliding a bit but turned it into a straight shot.

*Takenya slammed the door open leading to the entrance of the store, panting heavily and falling forward onto her knees, sweating even more than before, groaning*

'Ughh ... Why did she make me run AGAIN ...?'

*Takenya sits at the corner of the store for awhile, trying to catch her breath, again, hoping the owner doesn't catch her*

Janis followed but then stopped her a bit out of breath from the non stop running. "Wait, wait. I invited Takenya too. She was right behind me...so hold on. She shouldn't be long. I think I was a bit fast." She turned towards the doors far off from where they were and tried to look between people for the familiar face. Finally she spotted her and pointed and then waved for her.

"There she is. Takenya! Over here! Hurry! You don't want to be left with the cleaning jobs!"

*Takenya nods and pants, trying to lift herself to her feet, but, instead, crawls over to Janis and waits until she gets there to stand, standing beside Janis, breathing heavily and smelling musty*

'Huuuu ....'

She jogged in place laughing a bit then jumped up and down.
"Come on now takenya-chan. Its right there."
She points down the isle to the back room with a sign on it saying manager. There were also a few students standing near the door waiting to go in.

*Takenya gulps, feeling herself tremble, nervous, but excited, wondering what's gonna happen, walking down the isle, to the back room, in the back of the small line waiting for the job*

"Dang. How many people know about this?" Janis asked as she tried to stand on her tip toes to see how long the line was. "Oh wait, there are forms up ahead, I'll go grab them." She cut up in front of a few people to grab three forms and then jogged back a few steps and handed one to Ain and Takenya. She then sat down her self on the floor with a pencil and began writing out her name.

"So what are we all gonna sign up for? I think we should try and get the same shift and job."

*Takenya seated her bottom down beside Janis', grabbing the form, sliding a tiny mechanical pencil out of my binder and thinking*

'I don't have any ideas, I'm too busy thinkin' about the homework, I can't get it out of my head!'

Ain sat on her knee and the paper against a wall to write.
"Im not sure....probably for the book department. It seems less quite but the music department seems cool. Itll be the most wanted though. What times can you guys work?"
She didnt have much to go back home to so she was open at any time of the day it seemed.

"I wouldn't mind working in the music area or doing price checking. Actually, I don't care what it is as long as I'm not cleaning. I suck at it." she laughed and then checked a few more notes.

"Wait, I'm only fifteen. I doubt they will hire me...I don't have a car or anything. I mean I don't live that far off...oh well. I will just lie. I turn sixteen in a few months anyways. Besides, I think they are desperate anyways." She marked her birthday as a year before and then nodded and marked Book and Music.

"Well you never know. And for times, I'm free any time after school. I prefer to get home before dark though."

She hated the thought of going through the forest path alone. It would freak her out. And she still had to convince Ryuu to get out of the dumpy motel and just stay with her. He was her friend after all.

*Staring at the two, Takenya sighs and nods, agreeing to the 'Music Section'*

'But, I'm only thirteen, so what will I put for MY age?'

*Takenya looks down at the paper, writing down the things, other than her age, that she already knows*

She laughed and tried to not tear the paper being on the wall.
"I wasnt going to give the right age anyway i doubt they are either."
She said waving her pencil towards the rest of the students. Then looked at takenya.
"We could say shes just short or rather how tall are you? we can make this work."
She said with a funny face laughing to herself.
Giving up on the wall and used the floor instead.

((btw. You two can talk in the chat box if you want as well. I accidentally must have made you confused Takenya. When I said don't post when Ryuu is there, I meant don't post that smiley () lol. ))

"That is true. Just lie Takenya. No one will notice as long as you don't give yourself up though. Besides, you know they are only gonna pay us minimum wage." she laughed and finished the rest of the information. She had to leave a few blanks as far as phone numbers went. She still needed to get one. And she didn't know the phone number of the place that she was at. She would have to find out. She could tell them that she just moved.

"Okay, well I'm ready. I think they are gonna interview us one at a time. So Takenya, just tell them that you are fifteen. Because I'm not sure if you can pass for sixteen. I think they will let you be here though still. Fifteen is a legal age to work."

Ain hurried a little on paper feeling anxious she filled out everything giving a fake parent number that shed just take care of later. It wouldnt be to much of a hassle.
"Yosh, haha is anyone nervous?"
She said scratching the back of her head feeling more then nervous at the time.

(Oh, Haha. NOW I know what you meant by that)

*Takenya nodded to both of the girls, smiling, feeling comfortable with her life at the moment, writing down a few more things*

'Fifteen. Got it!'

*She stares at the paper, kissing it once with a soft touch of her lips and places it back onto the floor, waiting for the others to finish*

'Done.'

*She nods to Ain, giggling nervously*

"I'm nervous. It's my first job. We are really going to have to impress them inside the interview! I mean, really. They look for personality! So be cute, adorable, if its a man flirtatious!" she laughed and then checked her appearance on a side mirror of an aisle. She looked back to the slow disappearing line.

"I think we will be up soon."

"Well then who should go first? ehh."
She looked between the two of them wondering if anyone would mind someone else going first. She fidgeted with the paper a little glancing at the managers room every once and a while. Then put her two pigtails down taking the advice of being cute but she could never be flirtatious. Ain laughed at the thought.
"Now if only i had a bow haha"

*Takenya pulls one of the bows out of her hair, forgetting that she had two of them in her hair, handing one to Ain, giggling as she nods to Janis, pulling her own hair into two pigtails, feeling as though she looked like Ain, feeling kinda weird*

'Sorry to copy your style, Ain, Haha.'

"I think, if you want. I will go first. Then you Ain, and Takenya last. We can tell her what to be prepared for that way." Janis looked up at the line and frowned a bit. They were going to have to get in there sooner or later.

*Watching the line decrease, she whimpers, shivering alittle, feeling alittle more nervous, now knowing that her two friends are going before her*

'Oh, gosh.'

"Don't worry. I really think it will be fine. You just have to make sure you have good grades. Other wise they really won't fire you. So, I don't have my transcript right now, but they will probably want it sooner or later. The year is starting, so make sure you stay up top okay Kenya?" She gave her the quick name habitually as it was the quickest her mind could come up with. Finally there was on one more person in front of them.

Ain laughed at takenya putting the bow in her hair.
"Its fine you look cute."
She heard she was going second so she prepared her lines in her head of how to say things though he wont expect much from a high schooler just starting.
"Good luck."
She put two thumbs up as she sat agaisnt the wall to wait.

"Haha. I've been lucky so far..." she mumbled in her thoughts about finding the abandoned chateau. Well, she wasn't exactly sure how abandoned it really was. The owners could just be on vacation and now that school has started, they could be back at any time. She would really need this job. Janis sighed a bit and fidgited with her hands and caught herself just in time before picking at her nails. It was a bad habit of hers. Finally it was her turn. She waved at the other two and walked inside.
