Chateau

"He died 4 months and couple of days ago, thats why the food was fresh.He mentioned that he had bought a new house."
He looked to the floor, feeling anger and sadness but he didnt show those feelings.He just raised his head and said. "Dont worry." He smiled.

Now trying to find excuses, her mind ran through a list of reasonable to doubt to believe that he was alive.

"It could have been a different house."

"Im gonna go outside."
He stands up and walks outside from the front door, he takes a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, takes one from it and lights it.

Janis watched him go outside and she turned back to the photo that Ryuu had left on the ground. She picked it up and viewed the image of the same three boys, two older and one younger and nine dogs. A cat was also viewable.

"It would be nice to know who these people are."

With a bit of sadness mixed with feelings of nonchalant, she walked outside to find Ryuu smoking. After the initial shock died down she approached him.

"Your gonna die soon like that." she said without any hesitation.

"I know." He inhaled and looked up to the sky as he let out a sigh.

"You trying to commit suicide without the effort?" she said sarcastically and then sat down on a swinging bench chair. She looked out across at the lake and tried to imagine the picture happening there with the dogs running around. It looked fun. She found it out that she actually felt lonesome without it and like she was missing someone she never met.

"How long have you been smoking?" she asked after a few minutes of silence.

"Four months." He looked towards the lake too, thinking that should he go and bunk somewhere else.

She nods and then asks another question. "Why?" Her eyes were still focused out on the lake thinking about how she might go out and swim one day.

"You know the reason and Im gonna bunk somewhere else, see ya."
He stretched his arms as he started walking towards the gate where they got in, the gate opened by itself and Ryuu walked out.

Janis frowned as she watched from inside her possible new friend walk out. She didn't believe that this person was dead. They couldn't be. It didn't feel right to her. She would have to find some proof that Ryuu's friend was still alive. In the house when Ryuu disappeared from view, Janis faced a multitude of rooms. She would search every one if she had to. There would have to be something.
