Chateau

*In the large entrance hall way, Janis sits down at the piano and plays one of the notes. It echoes loudly off the walls. She turns around to see if she accidentally woke Ryuu in the other room, but sees that he is still sleeping. She turns back around and plays a few more notes until it turns into a melody*

Ryuu opened his eyes and stood up, he listened the melody.

((Okay. I saw the simple para post. (: So don't think you are going to sneak around that. Next post I want at least three to four sentences.))

(I love this song. xD I blame Baka even though now he hates it...after I put so much effort into learning it too. )

*She hums to the song and pauses every now and then trying to either remember the next part of the song or by placing her fingers at the right keys but finishes the melody with flowing rhythm.*

"It's a shame that I can't find the music sheet to that. Maybe this person has them."

*She searches through the bench to see if she can find any music sheets, but finds none. She stands back up disappointed*

"What kind of person who owns a piano has no music sheets?"

Ryuu walks up next to her and says "No idea, you know wheres the fridge?"
He looked around with wide eyes and wondering how the hell some people own a house this big.
Ryuu furrows his eyebrows and looks in a closet near the piano.
"FOUND 'EM"

*She turns around in surprise to see him up and then runs over to where he is by the closet. She takes the sheets with hopefulness but then frowns in disappointment as she places them back in the closet*

"These are guitar tabs. I will have to find the piano sheets later. Anyways, you sure do eat a lot. The kitchen is somewhere to the right hallway. The place is too big for me to ever remember. I keep getting lost."

*She helps lead him down a few hallways until they find the kitchen and she lets him go at it.*
"These are my own groceries, so don't eat everything. Well, actually half of the stuff belongs to whoever lived here, but I can't cook so I bought my own."

Ryuu is already chewing some of the groceries, he turns his head and swallows looking at her.
".....Seriously?"
He continues to munch down the food then he remembers.
"Wait.If there were guitar tabs the dude must have a guitar."

"Yeah, probably. There are still places that I haven't explored yet in here. I need to draw a map or something. I'm guessing though that it is in the master bedroom or something. I don't go in there because I feel like it's an invasion of privacy. But that is probably where it is."

*She thinks in silence about her words of an invasion of privacy and the situation at the moment but shrugs it off. She was just practically renting it out anyways.*

Ryuu stood up in a hurry and ran around the house, he lost in the basement with all the music equipment in the world.
"Holy.."

*Trying to keep up with him she finally ends up right behind im the basement and stares around with not much surprise*

"Yeah, well it figures. Someone with this much money...I bet they don't even use all of this. What a waste."

"Its a waste that I didnt brake in this house earlier." He said with a huge smile on his face, feeling a wave of excitement.
"Now..Wheres the bass."

"Uhm. I don't know. Look around for it."

*she says this as she sidesteps all of the instruments and other boxes cluttering the basement. Finally after she gets over to where Ryuu is she spots a box labeled 'memories.' Ignoring her thought about an invasion of privacy she goes over and opens up the box and takes out a photo album*

"Hey, you want to find out exactly who it is that owns the place? Come over here."

He walks over to her and sits down.

*She opens up the front page on two people. One about their age and the other a little younger.*

"So it's a family that lives here. That explains a lot."

*She flips through a few more pages passing by different pictures involving the two or just one of each of them. She stops on a couple of dogs and she fawns over them*

"Look. They are so adorable!"

"Meh."
He lays down and stretches his arms.

*She keeps flipping through the album stopping at a picture with two people about the same age glaring angrily at each other with a black cat in the middle. She flips through where the camera person is knocked over and there is only one person standing in the background with a shocked and even angrier face. She flips another page with slight amusement with the two both looking like they are about to start a fight.*

"Haha. This is kind of funny. What friggen idiots."

*Finally bored she stops going through the pictures and throws it back into the box*

"Well I am bored."

Ryuu nods and rolls to the instruments.
He sits up to the chair behind the drums and looks around.
"So what now." He asks.

"Well. I did say earlier that I needed to draw a map of this place or something. So let's go through every room in the house. I need to go get pen and paper first. So follow me."

*She stands up and jogs up the stairs to the first floor of the house and to the front door where she left her back pack. She opens it up and takes out a few sharpies and a couple of papers.*

"We can label each door once we have finished going through them"

"The house isnt that big." Ryuu said looking at the other way, obviously he didnt want to walk around the house and drawing a map from it.

Janis shrugged and placed the pen and paper back in her bag but after a few moments of thought took it back out and labeled a few sheets bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom. It was all the information she was going to need. She stood back up and looked up at Ryuu expectantly with the papers in her hand.

"Well are we still gonna look around?"

Ryuu just stared at the wall, spacing out a moment,he looked back at her and said.
"You said something?"

She sighed and then shook the paper in her hand towards him. "Yeah I did. We are gonna go searching this place right? And looking around?" she felt a bit disappointed that it seemed like she was the only excited about searching the entire place and finding all sorts of things.

Ryuu tought bailing out from this, dissapearing suddently but he didnt.
He felt that he cornered, usually he would be outside under a tree, drawing.
He looked around and noticed a picture on a wall, he regonized a face in it.
He jumps up from the chair and runs to the picture then grabs it as he says quietly. "I know this guy.."

"You do?" Janis ask with eyes wide and a bit of concern, wondering if she should probably find a different place to live. The fact that she had managed to stay there for already over a month without being found out was amazing enough. If this person was going to come home soon, she would be facing a problem.

"He's dead."
As he put back the picture, turned around, walked to the same spot where he was earlier and sat down not saying a word.

Not knowing whether to be relieved that no one would be coming back or saddened by the fact that Ryuu knew him and he was dead, Janis followed him in silence.

"Are you sure? I only found this house empty a month ago and considering the food is all fresh...I really don't think that...Maybe it's something else?"
