School Courtyard

*A book laid open on Janis's lap as she flipped through the pages absent minded. Next to her were a couple of spiral note books where the wind flipped the pages in rhythm with her, revealing scrawls of handwriting on every available space.*

He walked under a tree and sat down. In his face there was a curious look when he saw a bird just infront of him. It wasnt flying away or wasn't scared of him.
"Weird.." He said.
He remembered something and started to search his pockets.
There it was, his favorite MP3 player.
Slowly putting the plugs in his ears and turning it on, he started to listen music.

(Was that good?)

(Since I already explained to you some of the stuff in the chat box, the only other thing is that the sentences are a little short, but not too short. They are fine, but we can work on combining sentences later.)

*Janis looked up from the flutter of a bird passing before her and landing a few yards away where another person sat in front of a tree. She sat where she was for a moment before whistling a small tune to see if she could get a reaction from the bird*

The bird looked at her and whistled back.
Ryuu raised his head after hearing a whistle then a another whistle that came out of the bird.

*She smiled and then whistled again. This time her whistles were following a song that she knew to be called Twisted Nerve. About half the way into the song she walked over in front of the bird and kneeled down and continued to whistled to it.*

That is one weird bird. *She said after finishing the tune and the bird remained there.*

Ryuu looked at her and said.
"You dont say."

Janis laughed a little and tilted her head a bit as she stared down at the bird. The bird mimicked her movements and she tilted her head back up right.

"It must be a pet bird that someone lost, because I don't know any birds this friendly with people."

Ryuu stood up and started to stretch his arms.
He yawned a little.
"I quess.We should return it to the principals office."

(To create a longer sentence you can use the word "as." -Ryuu stood up and started to stretch his arms a little as he yawned.- This means you have to take out what of the words though. You don't need 'little' twice then.)

*Janis didn't say anything but continued kneeling in front of the bird with a curious look.*

"What's the principal going to do about it? We don't even know if this bird belongs to a student here."

"Thats why we should take it to the principal."
He took off the plugs from his ears and turned off the MP3 player.

*Janis shrugged agreeing in silence with a nod of her head.*
"You are probably right. I don't think it belongs to anyone here though, I know I would have seen it at least once if it was."

"So.What now?"
Ryuu asked as he was searching his pockets.

(Laziness I'm guessing? lol.)

"I guess we go with your idea, uhmm...well I don't know your name."
*she says before leaning down to gently pick up the bird in the palm of her hand.*
"I'm Janis."

"Ryuu."
Ryuu puts plugs in his ears and starts walking away as he turns on the MP3 player.

"Hey! Where you going? Wait for me."

*She runs after him catching up as they get to the front of the school. She stops for a moment to pick up her abandoned books. That moment the bird took off in flight away from her hand.*

"Hey!" she called after it, but it kept flying out of distance.

"Well...there it goes."

Ryuu looks up to the sky.
"Its happy."
He remembers something and runs quickly inside.

*Janis looked up and watched as the bird disappeared and thought about Ryuu's words for a moment. When she turned around he was gone.*

"Eh. He left. Hey, Wait!"

*She turned quickly back around and followed him into the school until she caught up with him.*

Ryuu is looking rapidly around.
"Where is it.Where is it."

"Where is what?" *she asked curiously looking the same empty hallways as him.*

"I left my packback in here and my sketchbook."
He sits down on the floor and leans on the wall.

*She looks around down the empty hallways and up the stairs but there wasn't any thing besides bare walls, lockers, and floors.*

"Maybe the janitor or one of the teachers picked it up if you left it in here."

((packback.. xD Backpack..Oh and just to add clarity, add the emotions to the actions. If he leaned on the wall, what was he feeling. Frustrated probably? Add that stuff. :3))

Ryuu stands up, feeling a little bit frustrated as he starts to walk along the hallway looking at the doors.
"Janitors closet...Principles office...Where are they."

((yay. xD))

"Don't you know? You go to this school don't you?" *She asked curiously following after him down the hall way before leading him down another outside the janitors closet.

"It's probably locked. The janitor leaves after four."

"Im new in this school."
Ryuu kicks the door open and starts to search the closet, soon he finds a black backpack as he smiles a little he says silently.
"I always lose this thing."

*She steps hesitantly into the small janitor's room cramped with cleaning supplies and a desk and looks at the door and swings it back and forth.*

"Crappy locks?" She says in response to rationalize the kick.
